Wire EDM cutting

Precision wire EDM cutting. The Fanuc Robotcut C400iC wire EDM machine cuts accurate complex geometric shapes, dies, punches, open shapes of any conductive material including hardened steel at tight tolerances.
 

Electrical discharge machining EDM for short, cuts shapes with electrical discharges. Wire EDM machining is, also known as spark machining, spark eroding, wire burning or wire erosion. It can machine sharp internal corners which are impossible to do with an end mill for die manufacturing and blanking punches.
